It seems as though that doesn’t do much help, and I’m afraid of messing something up even more. Both these drivers are the originals that came with your PC. Do you already have an account? I’m not sure what it’s called on the device manager, though, or what category it would be under. Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware.

Disable that driver, while in Device Manager. Thanks for your help!

It may say something like: Overview User Reviews Specs. Once reported, our staff will be notified and the comment will be reviewed. Is your sound back? But after disabling the driver and rebooting the computer, I went back to device manager, and the driver has disappeared from the list. I tried that, and still can’t hear sound.
